I listened to his Reckless album on my journey back to Manchester, along with 2 tom petty albums and david bowie's Hunky Dory. This album (Reckless) sounds awesome on my car stereo, its so sharp and clear and bassy too, it does make me want to drive insanely fast though. I need to take care, which i do. Just as well I had this on for the final motorway leg of the journey, rather than the initial leg which is all twisty country roads, I push them to the limit, a little too much adrenalin and its all too easy to go through a hedge or something. My car is a little bit twitchy at high speeds and there were some snowy patches over the high ground which forced me to slow down a little. :sus: Thank God my car came fitted with a good stereo CD system as standard, it really makes long journeys enjoyable rather than the chore they might otherwise be.

I was listening to that album on my journey out. It starts off very surprsingly mellow for the first few tracks, considering its The Pixies, then it starts getting more psychotic and intense and more typical of the pixies after that. I like it all though, its a good one. I like the way they put that album together, the order of the tracks i mean, its cleverly done, so if you're not in the mood for full on psychosis just out of nowhere it gradually builds you up to it.

This song is the Mustaine's way of dispelling many of the stereotypes about the band and heavy metal fans in general. More specifically, that they are lazy, anti-government, and anti-religion, which Mustaine says are all untrue.

The video for the title track became an MTV mainstay and the opening guitar lines could be heard on MTV News broadcasts.
