I was into Jungle the first time around and the parties I went to played a real mix of stuff, usually Jungle would be on from about 2am- 5am, the vibe of that scene was a bit different round my way at least, it lost some of the really good things about the 'rave' scene....because it was built around cocaine IMO.

I never got into the namby pamby Trance that followed with the commercial Gatecrasher type stuff, I always liked stuff with proper pace and head fuck thrown in, not the kind of stuff that generally got played at clubs or commercial 'raves'.

This has taken me back to being a youth driving round in black RS Turbo coming back from raves down the motorway at 6am coming outta Birmingham from The Sanctuary or Subway City.

Who would have known an American could have such fine taste in English music, then again Soundmurderer is one of my top Jungle producers / DJ's & is from the USA too.

Allein you have fine taste in music I have to admit.

I'm not American 8o I was raised in the industrial grime of a London overflow town in the SE, I've travelled the states a fair bit, right down to Mississippi but I've always resided in the UK.
