Dan, why are you smacking the shit out of your axe when you're going in for the power chords? Try to stay more relaxed and your playing will become much smoother.

I like smacking the shit out of power chords. although watching that vid it seems i was overly heavy handed

on stuff like this im more gentle

Your UtB cover is much more impressive Dan. Great feel and technique there. Maybe you're more of a rocker than a metaller as far as your guitar technique is concerned?
 
Yeah I've played for about 15 years but just as a hobby. I'm more into prog metal stuff myself, Dream Theater and the like. Can't play much of that stuff very well but I enjoy trying (and failing!).

Aw, I love NMH <3 Song Against Sex is one of my most favourite songs; chaotic guitars and drums and I love the lyrics.

I'm not listening to owt at the moment, but really enjoyed listening to 'Chopin Changed My Life' or whatever it was last night on Four. Want to track some more stuff down
