CSS - wicked electro pop rock group from brazil. Turned out four decent albums, to my surprise as i thought they were done after their second album donkey. Worth checking out i reckon if you like that sort of thing.

MDB - Don't get me started on the doors. i fuckin love that band. I even like the weird shit of soft parade.

Marmalade - never actually heard the beta band so i listened to your link. Interesting. A little pavement, but only a little, don't really know where to place em, not a massive indie head i guess but always nice to cross one off the list. I can see the charm.

Long live Jaz. Still one of the best, freshest, most vital acts out there even at fifty plus.

I salute you. :) <3

i pretty much only know their first album & greatest hits, i over listened to it for a while when i first discovered them decades ago (yes i am that old) but have been mostly not listening to them recently, so their music is starting to sound fresh and exciting again, even if it is 46 years old or something, its brilliant and classic stuff. The film about Jim Morrison was awesome, dunno if youve seen it. The one that was released around 1990.

Cant get this song out of my head since listening to it the other day. Was singing it on my bike ride into town today, and that means its calling out to be relistened to again and again, it keeps hitting the spot. I saw this band live in The Ritz, they were fucking awesome. I passed the lead singer in the street before the gig, he was cool as fuck having a wonder around Manchester before the gig.

Hey MDB I got so much emotion attached to the doors, so much of it to do with fact that he was an "evil drunk", something i learned i suffered from at about the worst possible time to dal with that shit, ie 18 years old, at uni, living in a town with all new people etc

I love this track off there last album LA Women, which was a bit of a weird album, but the doors were kind of a weird band, with that drunken organ and everything.

Pink Floyd - Passages

Unfortunately, it appears to have been nobbled soundwise. A real shame cos is quite unique and really rather fitting. If anybody has a link to a version with actual sound post and forever suckle at my Brownie Points. Got no idea where it's from bit it ain't just bits 'n' pieces of Floyd tracks and it ain't exactly remixes... it is a Thing of Beauty though <3

But so there is at least some sound included in this post...

4- Hero - Spirits in Transit
