Haven't listened to enough Zappa either. Especially enough of a man who produced an album called "Rzz! Weasels rip my flesh!"

Would have loved to have been about in the 70s. To be able to march straight to the counter at a record shop and just announce, maniacally, apropos of nothing, "Rzz! Weasels rip my flesh".

We'll never get those days back, you know!

Highlighted ones I mostly like (big bonus points for Foals incidentally). Jamiroquai is the one and only "proper" gig I've ever been to... although I may have to come over all music snob on you and point out I was 18 at the time and was just before his second album came out and... well... he's done fuck all worth listening to since now has he? ;)

Plus, he took spliffs out the front row of the audience, took all of two puffs, then passed 'em to the bass player who finished 'em. This is beyond cheek. That first album was genius and he must've made a quid or two off it so has no excuse :|

Got to admit Sham, only saw Foals because I happened to be at Reading festival last year to see Eminem and they were on the same day. And only saw Jamiroquai because mother's ex got free tickets for the 'Magic Summer Live' thing last year in g'ford and they were headlining. Was pretty good though.

<3 NIN cancels out any other bad opinion though, Trent Reznor is fucking god.

I never thought i was see the day when someone tries to defend the music taste by saying Nickelback are down-right boogitastic hahaha =D.

Theres a lot worse out there than Nickelback, but everyone expresses much hatred towards them, so i quickly jumped on the bandwagon and now lay it into anyone who says their decent. Infact, im angered at the mere mention of Nickelback. So much so, that i dislike anyone, on a personal level who expresses even the slightest bit of praise for them; ya soulless wench.

(also, being a wanker doesn't negate the pure brilliance of that first album (and more or less most of the second one))

An aside, can anybody confirm or deny a vague memory I have of reading somewhere that Finlay Quaye is Jamiroquai's cousin?

Either way, I fukkin <3 Finlay Quaye. That first album was on near-constant roatation one very memorable summer <3
