Not biting? Then I shall continue to dangle my meaty offerings unto y'all...

New Order - Your Silent Face (live @ Finsbury Park '02)

"No hearing, no moving, no breathing, just silence"

New Order - Perfect Kiss

"My friend, he took his final breath
Now I know the perfect kiss is the kiss of death"

And if 80s technopop ain't yer thing, gee-tar godliness from Barny Sumner & Johnny Marr surely has to be...

Electronic - Haze

Just for the repeated record, this was the track I was listening to the first time I smoked DMT. Ceiling turned to rainbow stalactites and I felt bliss like I'd never known possible.

"Everybody, won't you come with me?
We'll take a ride across the sea
When we get there if we don't drown
I'll turn your whole life upside down"

Hehe. Was that meant "ironic" stylee or as actual response, Dee? Alternatively, in the Sigue Sigue Sputnik camp of things that have a certain quality but are, ultinately, dire? Am leaning towards one of the former cos usually you're so good at these kinda things :(

Switching from Orbish to Orbitality, (amongst) their bestest tunes ever...

Orbital - The Girl With The Sun In Her Head

Orbital - You Lot

Wasn't paranoia so much as shock at shiteness given prior good taste, Dee ;)

(and any reference intended was to several posts back... i posted a lot tonight... i will likely post a lot more... all will be class ;))

Two of my fave tracks off another fave album... wot has bad, bad memories for me... bad of the Good kind =D

Sheep on Drugs - English Rose (live)

"I'm so ashamed of British youth it actually hurts..."

Sheep on Drugs - A to H & Back Again (live)

Nuff suid...

Well, believe it or not, all of these tracks were being played in warehouse parties all across Europe including the UK in the late 80's, but i agree its fun, and its trash, tack, but there you go, even i dont take myself seriously 100 per cent of the time otherwise youd be a right boring c*nt.

Back in the day i dont really remember anyone taking themsleves very seriously anyway, everyone was just having fun.

The belgium new beat genre is an odd one, it came out of the industrial scene in the area in the mid 80's but they were getting a lot of airplay in Ibiza and the biggest techno clubs in western Europe.

I dont recall anyone else recording tracks about Amnesia in early 1988, well the British started recording Acid House tracks and copying what had already gone before in the USA.

The British arent neccesarily very original at anything, they like to claim fame to alot of things though... Very good marketing! We can claim breakbeat and dubstep but not house/acid house (USA) and european and ibizan club culture, the main influences in uk just went out there and came back inspired and copied.

The seriousness of yourself taking myself seriously suggests you are a tad older than I will ever be ;)

I said it was shit cos it was painfully shite. I also like shite. Much of it (you should see my music collection :o). But actual shite is shite and that track was godawful no matter what. They played godawful shite even during the "exclusive" days dontcha know ;)

But given I know you have plenty good taste (and have demonstrated that fact frequently... occasional lapses aside :p) rise above Ye Oldeskool for just a moment and tell me Ye Newskool ain't just sexy as all fukkeryfukk ever was...

Dave Monolith - Farewell Frenchman

Automatic Tasty - Passenger Funk

I think it was the tracks intro that used to be the deal breaker for that one , it sounded excellent coming up on your pill.

Oh what decent drugs do to you lol.

Yes you no i love my acid house :D, but thats a bit manic to say the least for me lol

One last truth track from me..

Id rather paint the correct picture of what was happening at that current time of my track postings in this thread, not a figment of someones imagination.

Massive Balearic anthem in the late 80s for the original true loved up generation in Europe, its bizzare but youd better believe it, and you would of heard it in London clubs definitley as another end of the night track quite possibly, with lots of hugs and smiles on the dancefloor with whoever happened to be standing next to you at that current time.

I shall bid you farewell and goodnight for now, big love...

Sympathy for the Devil - The Rolling Stones
