Oh my.. to be 14 again, camping in a 2 man tent in my backyard with my first "love", making out to Pantera playing on a "CD player built in!" boom box... 😍

I still sing this song almost daily in the shower 😂 My claim to fame is knowing every Lyric to every song from this album 😎

"The Queen is Dead" album by The Smiths. (1986)

I recently got reacquainted with my closest friend/almost-girlfriend from waaayyy back in high school and I'm feeling very nostalgic. (Yes folks, I was "emo" before I ever heard the term!)

"...and if a double-decker bus
crashes into us
to die by your side
is such a heavenly way to die
and if a ten ton truck
kills the both of us
to die by your side
well the pleasure, the privilege is mine."

Now THAT'S romance! ;)

Ahh The good old Smiths ❤Melancholy to slit your wrists by on a dreary morning.
This has to be the most macabre yet beautiful song I've ever heard... the clip is very oddly comforting.

I remember being completely obsessed with The Smiths. Misery loves company and all...

I sent the song "There is a light that never goes out" to a lover I had. Lame maybe, but I meant every word that Morrissey wrote right there.
Also... Morrissey is a vegan pushing dick but an oddball. And I have a thing for oddballs 😍

My favourite song by The Smiths is "I Know It's Over"... but the Jeff Buckley cover is 100x better than the original.
This song reminds me of loneliness yet again, but music has always been better for me than any other human.
Ahh fuck. Why do I love the things that make me cry? 🖤
