He was a Genius in my view.
The Lords: Notes On Vision & The New Creatures is a book I'd go back into a burning house to rescue, my copy is so old & falling apart but I'd never let it go.

He was a genius - 160 IQ apparently. And yeah his poetry was incredible.. All written by 27. I heard An American Prayer 25 years ago and instantly loved it, still do.

I don't actually like that many Doors songs.. That one's just basic blues so it's ok, but I often choose the alternate versions just to hear Jim fooling around. I think the band are awesome (especially at supporting him) but it's all about Jim for me 😎


I'm always listening to these versions 😂
