Benjamin Todd or his band Lost Dog Street Band. One of my favorites of his is "Using Again." He wrote this before he got clean. I suggest him to everyone that loves good lyrics and folk/Americana style music. It's mostly acoustic guitar and fiddle sometimes harmonica too. His wife is who plays the fiddle.




Also recommend The Hill Country Devil. Love this song, Kerr County Dopesick Blues. Keep in mind he's super fucked up when they filmed this. He kept it to remind him when he wants to use. I think he has almost a year or more clean from opiates.




Hope someone loves them both as much as me. I can't get enough of either of them and they both have phenomenal lyrics. You honestly can't go wrong with any of their songs. They are all repeats on my Playlist.
