The sins of mankind and our collective suffering is captured perfectly by New Zealand born Death Metal outfit Ulcerate's "Drown Within".

^lol does it matter? Do you not have to move on from pain? Or just dwell in hell?
Personally, think we need to dance with both; keep perspective of the past realities ( lest they catch us unawares) and move forward toward the future, unknown ( always informed by the former, subconsciously, so, hence, both need to be honored, to honor your good self). <3

Just be authentic. Ulcerate clearly is in touch with some darker aspects of reality that not all of humanity can lay claim to having experienced or knowledgeable of. Music is a necessary means of rendering these inevitable darker energies something dare I say positive. Phil Collins, whilst I've never listened knowingly (pretty sure I've heard him though) seems authentic and he's doing his own thing. I just don't think you can compare Phil Collins to Ulcerate is all.

I haven't listened to it just skipped around from start to finish and the emotions evoked are nothing at all alike with Ulcerate. The music you posted sounds fine to me I can get by it. I'm just saying certain types of music evoke completely different sets of psychological states. Not everyone relates to everything especially the darker music. With dark art its strange, it's like how far do you go? What limits do you place on youself as the artist? I realized this vaping dmt one day in a dark room. I went to a very dark strange yet enticing realm. Imaging a being who had been captured and prisoner for countless years. I realized just how deep the pain of reality can go and that I'm lucky to have to suffer only as much as a man (human) can suffer.
