Interesting take on Nirvana's Heart Shaped Box. Nirvana purists will probably hate it, but I thought it was pretty unique:

Even as a die-hard fan, I'd still rather hear someone cover them and do something original than rehash another version that tries to sound like the original but always pales in comparison.

DEF NOT NIRVANA, SOME KIND OF NOISE THOUGH, MADE WITH A GUITAR, LONG SOLO, CORRECTION, VERY LONG SOLO, REMINDS POSTER OF GOOD OLD DAYS DRINKING SHIT BEER, SMOKING SHIT WEED, LAYING CHICKS COS HE IS IN BAND
Am I right? I was dissing, but somewhere in the middle of that solo, that started near the beginning, I got a bit into it, and listened to that solo, until the song ended. :D

Sorry for all the aggro shit, ladies and gents. I been drinking bourbon since 4AM. The ghost of qtpi was haunting me from deeeep in the rap attack thread, and I barely fought my way out of it. So the fight and flight sapped my will not to drink, and when this bourbon is kicked, if CD is not, I have half a fifth of tater juice to finish the job!

But enough about me, let's hear it for the masters of stagecraft, the most stratospheric sonic attack seen since Talib Kweli skin went from black to BLACK, and the only liaison to genuine meaning hiding in commercial music

To be continued on the conscious rap thread, after that, see you over where those kids try to defend mumble "rap", also known as bubble gum pop circa 2020ish

Was listening to Papa Roach's last album all day, pretty damn good - forgot all about it 'Who Do You Trust?'

(There is a plenary indulgence attached to devoutly reciting the Tantum Ergo today, on Holy Thursday.)
