Gorgeous intro. Carried on being a fine track. I like it a lot. Reminds me of The Rolling Stones' epic Wild Horses. It's the same tune!



There's not much in that kind of chilled out and languid guitar based vein that I don't like.

Can we stop with the 'Bleaney test' stuff now though?

I'll listen to anyone's music posts, if I'm in the mood or intrigued, and will comment or emoticon as appropriate.

Hits me pretty intensely this one, especially the chorus. If the dopamine is flowing, I find it very uplifting and powerful.

OK, how about a @Perkins : Reborn test verdict on the following track?

I think this is from the same era, and similar genre to the Neil Young / Crazy Horse stuff you've been posting, and which I've enjoyed.



I seriously need to listen to more Neil Young/ Crazy Horse and CCR. Everything I've heard from them has been brilliant.

I love these guys, and I guess I am a purist for the acoustic guitar, especially 2 of them played together with such skill as this.

The singer's voice gives me totally country vibes. It makes me think of how Robert Johnson was willing to play for his audiences whatever genres they wanted (country, etc.), not just the blues.

Absolutely perfect tune. Could do without the modern video though! I'd much rather see some southern US bar.

This is pretty much in the same vein. When the sax comes in, man. No Bleaney test though:



Don't know if you know the history of the film, but it was totally cocaine-soaked, to the point they had to spend thousands of dollars altering the film so you couldn't see that Neil Young had at least a gram of coke hanging out of his nose! Robbie Robertson said "the most expensive gram of coke I ever bought".
