I know Spiral Tribe had a really banging Stack back in the day, I assume the Cops under that bullshit Law Thatcher passed would have taken the subwoofers & smashed it to pieces.

I watched a Documentry last night on "Blue Parties" & the Windrush lot who gave the UK Dub talking about the old days, one ex Box boy was saying how the cops would come with a load of knitting needles to push through the Subwoofer & also bring pins used to 100% scratch the dubplates!!!!!!!!!!!
I nearly exploded in ANGER when I heard that TOTAL BULLSHIT, so many people got mad when some folks put grass / turf on the statue of Winston Churchill & it makes the main news on BBC & ITV, the people who got mad over that are the kind of people who get their dick hard from running needles down dubplates IMHO.

You ever seen the movie called "Babylon" if you haven't I cannot big it up enough, watch it tonight as it's an English Classic.

Am feeling that yeah, ya brummy chavved-up smack-for-blood wastrel

And yeah....there's been many a soundsytem built there over the years, and the occasional party too (watch out that they don't chain ya to a totem pole for shits n giggles tho)


Not the valley here but the system at 2.00 is from there 100% for certain...have been to a fair few parties at this epic location back in the day (love how it's described as "Near Borth"...well it is near if you class 50 or so miles as 'near', which I do not)


one of my old valley friends built a dubpram, which is exactly what it says, a rocking portable dub soundsystem built round a (very sturdy) pram. It was quite the thing at many parties/festis

Seen this before, several were at Burning Man Festival in the USA.
The "wheels" were huge Subwoofers, the midrange and tweeter speakers were attached all over the side of it.
 
FWIW, I attended a few Tipi Valley parties and they were outstanding. Banging as all bangery… but also chill as all chillery. First one I went to literally the first person I saw was some dude with at least on oz of ket on a mirror just shnozzing back line after line. I felt at home =D
