What are you listening to? Part XXX - Sexxxy tunes for sexxxy folks

Hey ZB, it's thanks to you that I realised what a bunch of plagiarists Led Zeppelin were/are.

It doesn't mean I like their music any less, but it has tainted my opinion on them as a band.

So, thanks for that, ya cunt...
Rolling Stones ripped off Mississippi Fred McDowell too, they didn't pay the small amount of cash he was due till he was long dead & buried in the dirt.
So many fans of Real Blues hate "Bowling Stoned" for the way they ripped off Fred, he was NEVER a rich man even when he became a "Cult Figure" on the Blues scene of the 1960's when people like Skip James, Son House etc were found in Poverty still working in the Cotton fields or Manual Labour in the more Urban Poor parts of the USA.

Led Zeppelin covered so many Old tunes, I knew this one from the original recording by this guy decades before I heard the Zep cover.

Actually it's what I generally prefer from them, there's a lot of "new" tunes like Whole lotta love or Friends that sound great but the old bluesy stuff rocks because it fits Plant's voice like a ring.

"From pacing to facing
My problems, questions seem to haunt them
My habits, they persist
Constant reminders of my purposeless
I'm insignificant"

You know Townes @Shambles ???
If you have no idea who he is this will give you a good idea what he was about, the most honest song about opiates ever recorded.

"As brothers our troubles are
Locked in each others arms
And you better pray
They never find you
Your back ain't strong enough
For burdens doublefold
They'd crush you down
Down into nothin'
Being born is going blind
And buying down a thousand times
To echoes strung
On pure temptation
Sorrow and solitude
These are the precious things
And the only words
That are worth rememberin'"
