What are you listening to? Part XXX - Sexxxy tunes for sexxxy folks

We literally had that track on repeat for about an hour last night. You've good taste.
I have a wide taste in music, I like stuff from Norwegian Black Metal through to Bach.

My favourite music is old Mississippi Delta Blues, Mississippi Fred McDowell the first time I heard him blew me away & made the hairs on my arm stand up, the same goes for Blind Willie Johnson too.

I have this ripped to MP3, a Tony Furtado Tribute to Blind Willie who in my view is the #1 Slide player ever, nobody else comes close.

<3 <3 <3 <3

The Original man at his best, this guy was 100% blind from the age of 3 when his step-mother threw a strong alkaline in his face & burned his eyes so badly he was 100% blind from that day.

Thx, I've pretty eclectic and sometimes esoteric taste in music too. Will give it all a listen when I've got a moment.

I began to get sick late last night & it got worse so quickly, I neded up ringing my man & begging him with ZERO Respect for myself & total lack of Ego to lay one on me till tomorrow.

This song most people take me as a kind of dark Romance track but to me this wraps up Heroin addiction 100% & only equal to some of the stuff by Townes Van Zandt.

For me this will always be about Heroin addiction & everything that is bad about the habit.
What you feel about this live version, it was a song from my youth. But this version was the fist time after a long while i played it, and the text got more meaning. And compared with the studio version and MTV clip, way more intense.

Get the connection with addiction [its on now], hope you feel ok. The song has layers wether i fantasize em myself or they are there, Most art gets more meaning for me as time passes. Inc. my own.

"Imagine hearing this on the hotline for suicide prevention"
Well without undertitles, it might be a nice tune, certainly not expected.

When these cords are kinda fameliar, to me they aint and are. But its a bit like Chinese music. My friends dad, when on some Sake late at night, would sing us Chinese/ Manderin songs, with a kinda distuned string instrument (for my Western ears).
But it sounded real, sensere and emotional like this very sad. But it were moments rememorable listening to this totally stoned. He was not only a top cook, good but silent man but also musician, and very good at beating us playing MahYong. RIP

Would have been a better choice as working background music. Jungle.
But again perfect lenght 1 1/2 hour and nice tempo.

edit: contained a lot of classics and sometimes real close to drum and bass. New influences incorparated, like better then the tekno.

So I run to the Lord
Please hide me, Lord
Don't you see me prayin'?
Don't you see me down here prayin'?
But the Lord said
Go to the Devil, the Lord said
Go to the Devil
He said go to the Devil
All on that day
So I ran to the Devil
He was waitin', I ran to the Devil
He was waitin', ran to the Devil
He was waitin', all on that day
