Excerpts from "The Desertshore Installation" 12 CD box set, recorded 1-3 June, 2007. Throbbing Gristle's first attempt at reinterpreting Nico's 1970 album "Desertshore", prior to the departure of Genesis P-Orridge and the death of Peter Christopherson in 2010.
Recordings from the initial TG Desertshore sessions were released on the tour-only album "The Third Mind Movements" in 2009. "Desertshore" was later completely re-recorded featuring a number of guest vocalists in place of Genesis P-Orridge and released in 2012 as "Desertshore/The Final Report" under the band name X-TG.
