I really need to learn how to post links to things, on bluelight...
Anyhow, been cleaning to try and remove whatever negative 'vibrations' the house has accumulated after this past year (yes, cleaning neccesarily means speed: my last 20mg of dexedrine, in this case), which requires music to keep things rolling along. Just as one of the fatrats decides it's playtime (my mrs called them her furbabies. I love them, but they are fatrats!),
Cameo: 'Word Up' comes on the desktop. The rhythm results in me patting said fatrat's stomach in time and he's squirming around in fits of rapture. As I'd been cleaning for a few hours, when I decided time for a sit down, I felt I deserved a volcano and a can of Guinness, which means the cat maybe got a little more Cameo than he expected! So, just as the song's ending, the little fucker goes psycho, biting my forearm, giving bunny kicks with his back feet etc. Now I know 'Top of the Pops' received more phonecall complaints about the the song's video (well, singer Larry Blackman's fuckin' huge, red codpiece

), but if Wazzok (said furball's 'other name') didn't like it, why the ecstatic squirming? I did sort of egg him on, after he started going fuckin' mental on my arm, but something spooked him, just as the next video (
Zodiac Mindwarp: 'Prime Mover') started. May have been the first few seconds of the track, or it may be the 4-FMPH I had IMed, just before sitting down, was kicking in and he thought I was laughing at his efforts to be a baaad cat, and just not responding how he expected me to!
Anyway, once I started to sing (well repeat lyrics without even a nod to harmony) and rub/pat his stomach with renewed glee, he upped and ran off like I'd shoved a chilli up his arse and with terror in his eyes.
Animal don't just have an ability to detect us going wrong eg. cancer, before we have an inkling of it, I think they can detect impending mental dysfunction well before we can (or possibly just a look at my eyes, which along with my behaviour screamed run, he's loosing it, look at the size of his pupils!

)
