You can't judge a place on the basis of one visit twenty one years ago lol

There's barely a red light district any more for starters

It's really non sketchy also, I've been there twenty times or more in the past 21 years and never felt really threatened at any hour of the am or pm

It does suck in high summer. Too many people.

You do have a point, places do change over time.

I just found it shady due to.................

1) Some guy with terrible tattoo work all over his face asked my mate for a cigarette & when he said "No" to the guy he spat in his face & threw a can at his head. He began shouting "You know what this means?" & kept pointing to a tattoo on his cheek like it was some Russian Jail stuff, he was shady as fuck.

2) The hookers in the booth things by the top end of The Red Light Zone by where a Church was I found terrible. It was full of huge women that looked like they were from West Africa & they were banging the glass shouting at me. I was really wasted so I began laughing at them which was a mistake. They got mad & began shouting in their language, next thing this huge guy came out from God knows where & chased me saying he was going to kill me & throw me into the canal.

I guess it's equal to passing judgement upon the whole of Thailand down to a bad experience one night while at Soi-7 Pattaya.

You a fan of the Jon E cash / Black Ops sound?
It's bass at & below 40Hz so you need good speakers to understand it, well the same goes for all Jungle etc but even more with this stuff.
Play this at your yard & have a good spliff while it plays, the bass just washes over you & gives your body a nice massage from all the air it's pushing out of the subwoofer.
When Poppy dog was alive she used to go mad when certain tracks would come on & spin in a circle by the subwoofer, she must have got a doggo massage from all the air moving around.

This is one she would go mad for, this track is a pure classic for the Sublow sound, I've seen this track shake windscreens on cars & even damage a wing-mirror as it was just shaking so much from the bass it came loose & was hanging on by the wire inside.

There's a lot of good tracks on this classic 80's album "Love" by The Cult. I'm enjoying this track a lot recently. Class guitar solo.



This is an album that I keep returning to time and again, but not too often. So that it stays fresh.
