Beerstreets are everywhere, or Beer quay s. This one was next to the R_Dam centre.
at WORM, still excicst only its legally housed. Cool spot for any one visiting, check the program for WORM.

Bit undergroundish, what you posted 20 years after quite a good DJ must say. Diff vibe as Tekno.

I havnt been to holland for 30 - no i think 25 yes years and that was mainly fir Dance Valley in 1999. i only spent about 18 hours in Amsterdam and havnt a clue what the actual scene in the city is like in general terms

Iron Maiden's original vocalist Paul Di'anno died today. I ultimately ended up prefering their later stuff but Maiden's first two albums were among the first I jumped into when I first started exploring 80s metal in my teens.
 
there seems to be fuckton of quinessentially british music which others struggle to reach (humour / culture etc, am sure it goes both ways..) , ofc not always, but quite a lot really

@emkee_reinvented Marley and Scratch would resort to actual fisticuffs on more than one occasion when recording, cos musical differences, ahem

they'd emerge after a night hard at it bruised and bloodied, with some 1st cut of some future absolute classic in their hands - it wasn't always peace and love with those fellas!

got this on now, the first apperance in uk I think, such a beautiful exquisite version, but apparently some of the studio crew were terrified of Peter Tosh that night, they described his vibe as 'brooding and menacing', quite likely unconscious bias shit I reckon - live in the studio, best ever version imo


edit - and now smoothing outta the speakers, the best live version of this, too (imho)

I know someone who attended this show, the absolute bitch ;)

Good friends fight, but it explains the tear in Perry s eye, he felt bad. Like a traitor.
Friends though Perry seeemed to feel more also like a substitute dad/ wise man. Besides making music together.

That Uk apperance also has 'Duppy Conquerer' fav track. Checked wrong that was LA '73
