This is such a tune and they are supposed to be playing at Boom Town this year. Brilliant.

didn't realise step on was a remake! Dare i say it but i think the original is better<3 cause i know happy mondays are the holy grail lol

The original Step On is quality for sure but the Mondays version squeaks it for me. Prefer his the original version of Tokoloshe Man though but was never in the top flight of Mondays tunes anyway, to be honest. Bonus points for anyone who knows what a Tokoloshe Man is without Googling it ;)

One more for the road then I'm off up the wooden hill to bedfordshire for the night - James Taylor & Yo Yo Ma - Here Comes the Sun. Many thanks to Warm Rushes for reminding me of the immense Goodness to be found in Amorphous Androgynous' A Monstrous Psychedelic Bubble Exploding in Your Mind mixes - redownloaded the three official volumes along with some of the unreleased bobz they did under the same banner. Yum <3

PS: Just spotted that Def Leppard also covered Step On. Not clicked on it cos Def Leppard are so shite it beggars belief but tickled me that they - of all people - chose to cover such a thing =D
