..btw I didn't want to use the term IDM, perfer the term braindance as I think it fits the style but I know that makes people cringe as well, guess you could just call it 'electronica' but to me that's like the Chemical Brothers or Digitalism, the stuff labels like Rephlex and the Centrifuge put out deserves a term of its own in my opinion

GESCOM- B1

actually effie I have had a lot more guitar music on recently than the usual bleeps that I fill my head with, got into bluegrass a bit and noticed the grunge, punk and metal coming on a bit more.. good to have a break! :)

Tek: Braindance (or whatever ya wanna call it) is pure punk in ethos if not chord structure. Gee-tars & synths end up in the same place given the initial genius <3

The Eels - Mr E's Beautiful Blues <3

Jed: Patrick Wolf = <3

think your right there, punky, occasionally funky, but requiring some serious practices twiddlin those knobs

I also like the Eels :)

but have just listened to a heap of acid music due to finding part times acid thread, tis the best sound mos def %)

Luke Vibert - Clikilik (not the squelchiest most acidic track off that album, but fucking top anyway, has to be LOUD)

this is what I had on before finding the acid thread:

Primus - Tommy The Cat <3

say baby do ya wanna lay down with me say baby do ya wanna lay down by my side, say baby say baby!
