quite likin the new Fleet Foxes stuff, not got the album to listen to but think I might have to download it, apparently its leaked

right, so whilst waiting until sleep finds me I've been listening to your offerings of the Happy Mondays. I have to say out of the tracks that have been posted I like the stone roses stuff better. Perhaps its that certain style of music when "You'd have had to lived it" in order to like it, kinda stuff.

It just does nothing for me.

So very wrong... but not your fault ;)

Mondays are pure drugs. All of 'em. At once. Yanks never quite understood that vibe. Shaun Ryder & Co either scare 'em off or discombobulate 'em or bore 'em shitless. Cos Yanks don't do drugs. No offence. They don't though.

More to the point, it was an epochal thang. They (according to legend) literally introduced MDMA to this country from selling it to fund gigs. True or not it's one hell of a legend. They are that legend. And it was more true than not, in many ways.

Take a hefty dose of MDMA, listen to Happy Mondays - Wrote For Luck (live NYC '88 ) and tell me that's not pure class <3
