Brimz: I'm not much of a festival gal generally, but butlins takes the whole tent palarva outta the equation. I quite like camping, but i don't want all that malarky when i'm travelling from t'other end of the country.

Sam: Mark E gets a slot on my 'national treasures' list. he's my fave Bitterest Britain' ... he is like an anti-swan tho ... fucking intelligent guy too. Can't wait to see em

I object more to the fact he has a bunch of hirelings playing the same Can riffs over and over while he piles on the drivel than I do on any moral grounds.

As for 'intelligent', his autobiography proves he's just an idiot who was in the right place in the late seventies.

I got to admit to a secret guilty pleasure I LOVE that Cult "Electric" album, was Rick Reubens beefed up their sound, saw them on the Electric Tour as well when it came out...I know Cult fans would sneer, I'm not Cult fan, but to me that was their best album.

well, I certainly don't speak from the standpoint of a 'real man' whatever that is ... but I love that song a ton, and the cult in general [gave up a free ticket to see them due to unforseen events earlier this year.]

I see too much cock and not enough substance to credit that 'real' tho, despite liking it a ton

as being a real man .. and a gent at the same time

she big rakim fan, she loves all the shit you post up, by shit there, I mean shizzle, not dross....

It doesn't mean a lot to me, I recognise some of it, me and wife don't realy like the same music...

I said once before I don't listen to lyrics, even that last track you posted, I like the sounds, the intonation, the feel of the voice, but as an instrument, as part of the music, lyrics never get through to me in music....

Gotcha , that Rakim track could be an instrumental anyway its that good .
Unless you are lyricaly minded then you will never get all that Hip hop has to offer cos thats what its about really the finesse & skill on the Mic

Got agree with you guys The CULT fucking rock, iv loved astbury and duffy for 25 years , even the latter holy barbarian stuff. But the witch and eddie are me all time faves.

Edit this as I forgot about STAR , but after digging out there albums it's pritty much all fantastic
