Breathe Carolina - Blackout
This was the band that got me into dance music, saw them live in about '90 before Will Sinnott got killed, they had more elecronics on stage than I had ever seen a band have and could only play 5 tracks, one of which was a cover of "slip inside this house" by the 13th Floor Elevators

Yeah liked 808 and Orbital (think I saw them once or twice) but was so into my parties didnt find much time for "organised" do's, shunned them in the early days a bit in favour of free parties, mwas luck to have Exodus on the door step
have a bit of this for the morning:-
Fast Floor - 1000 phons
Nice link.^Ha love 808 State, i only saw them once, and that too was by accident at a canal basin in Manchester, about 95ish maybe, amazing night, mate found 5 red and blacks in a baggie on the floor, like a fool I double dropped, hadn't seen red and blacks for a few years at that point, and my God, 808 State sounded sooooo good..
Listening to this for the moment, please a few of the oldies in da place!
Guy Called gerald - This Music is Your Daddy!
Ahhhhh, and brimz, yeah Orbital too, live they are amazing, along with the Orb one of me favourite "live" acts..
Nice link.
At least I'm not the only one who appreciates late-80s/early-90s Chicago house.
Nothing pleases the true connoisseur quite like Arabesque - I Don't Wanna Have Breakfast With You, however.
LOL... speak for yourself.lol most the people on this thread seem to be 40+, have we bored the young 'uns out of the place?
moss side, innitI know what you mean but we should claim our own A GUY CALLED GERALD or DJ Gerald Simpson came from Manchester, even though its been properly rinsed (did i just use that word and I'm 40 for feks sake!) Voodoo Ray is a work of genuis and a true ground breaking track
