Nothing wrong with Norwegian black metal (as long as it's Burzum or early Mayhem with Death on the vocals)


IMO the BEST tech drum & bass ever, this album was the 1st from Teebee on C18 records before he went all gay with his beats.

I can't listen to Burzum without thinking of Varg ranting about Corn Flakes and stabbing Euronymous.
Satyricon, Gorgoroth and Behemoth are preferable.
 
I'm a fan of melodic metal. Stuff like Dream Theater (I may have mentioned this before :p), early Sonata Arctica, Seventh Wonder and the like.

Burzum is a bit too shouty for me these days.

lolol @ Cornflakes, I take it you seen the documentry Untill the light takes us?

Really aint feeling his new album Sôl Austan, Mâni Vestan, I liked Umskiptar alot & in terms of his strange electronic /ambient albums I think the one he did in jail called Hliðskjálf is amazing, loaded on MXE with that album on is perfect for me.
In terms or just raw Norwegian black style Aske or Belus hold the top spot imo.

I won't comment on Øystein Aarseth ;)
 
currently listening to a bunch of foreigners out the back attempting to put scaffolding up - which woke me up rather early & still hasnt been put up yet? feel free to listen in BL's
 
+ it turns out they've only got 1 hard hat between the 4 of them, 3 of them are allergic to hi-vis vest's & the person they're doing the work for cant understand a god damn word they've spoken all morning. Can see this job been a good en!
