Edwin Starr, I saw him live once at a local venue with a full brass section backing singers the works he rocked the place, there was a bit of trouble with some NF that had managed to get in so he stopped mid set as they were being abusive up front....they were soon ejected mainly by the crowd !

I got to meet him briefly after as my mates dad ran the venue, I still have his signature somewhere, he seemed a really nice bloke, loved the way he dealt with the fekin Nazi scum.
