I can't listen to that record anymore, for reasons that I won't bother to explain I had to spend a good few days in an amusement arcade in Southend working on and monitoring a machine, next to the machines was one of those coin drop games, you know the one with the shelves of coins and a moving sliddy thing. And how it played the chorus to that tune over and over constantly I swear I was close to psychosis.......in fact maybe that where it all started to go wrong:)

Any how a bit of Weller to get me back on track

Jed that's verging on sacrilege the man is verging on a fekin deity;), there has never been an old or a new Weller he just keeps on movin on doing his thing, most of which has been IMO some of the best music of the last 20-30 years...its that long since the The Jam were up there breaking new ground.

Everything has a dark edge to it today (well rthat's how I feel). Even This Corrosion - Sisters of Mercy sounds doifferent. Think I'll put on the Stone Temple Pilots - Sex Type Thing and see if that has lost it's jolly singalong quality!

For some reason I always drag the most twisted records I own whenever I take methoxetamine. I'll definitely have to give it a go with the ethylphenidate after that recommendation.
