Lovin that tune

So wish I could have been there to see this one:-

Richie Havens - Freedom (Live at Woodstock 1969)

I have some of his recorded material but haven't found much that seems to stand up to his live performance much of it seems over produced, shame becuase this is a real classic performance, what a way to open Woodstock :)

they are re forming .

Dunno if they will be the same it's been a long time n it's hard to re create something like what they had .
One of the best bands in recent history imho.

they didn't break up?

released an album last year and promoted it on a mini tour, which included The Brudenell Leeds. managed to catch the Leeds gig which was AWESOME. best venue ever and non profit, all for charity

Frances was the most engaging front I've ever seen. she's one helluva sexy woman, quick witted, with a mouth like a sewer and loves telling yarns on stage. they love their audience and bands like that are always win win imo.
