I believe you - threy've had a shitload of musicians play with the band over the years ( In their first ten years of existance, they had 8 different bass players, Lemmy is just the best known one). As you might guess from my ramblings, Hawkwind is probably my fav band & believe it or not, was once John Lydon's favourite band as well (reading his autobiography and it's full of weird little ditties like that!)

BTW after clicking on link, realized that it's ages since I've played that particular song - a pleasant burst of nostalgia
