Got loaned, $ for some rum and cola, 35cl bottle of store dark carriebean rum and cola , i rarely drink over 35cl in a day, literitly max 35cl as i can be far too much a dribbly on more, i get just enough for a mellow glow on and helps to rest/to sleep also got my valium script today and done five 5mg tabs, but feeling chilled, might possibly get some hcl on loan later today, but if not i am paid tomorrow so ill get hcl then, same old routine in certain respects, but life can seem that continully routine to the point de ja vue but not if you get the drift. Happy days wished to you all, bluelighters and greenlighters 😉
 
Beavertown Lunar Haze. Tried Neck Oil t’other week and was disappointed - decidedly mid and massively overpriced. Thought I’d try this one as it’s on offer and… disappointed again.

Doesn’t even taste like what I think of as an IPA - more malty than hoppy. Considering the normal price of this brand, I think I’ll be giving them a miss in future :\
 
Rum for the last 48 hours, i forgot welfare payment arrived in bank this morning when remembered straight to late opening store (closes at 3am)and got 35cl gold rum, and later in moring will be seeing my supplier, he will be happy and so will i depending how long it lasts🙄! Hope you folks are keeping happy
 


This is what I've been throwing down me neck for the past few days. 5.2%, not strong as such but it's tasty for sure. Bit pricey at €2.75 a can mind.
 


Non alcohol beers annoy me in so many ways, my man behind the wheel today had a few of these and implored me to have a taste and I tentatively had a small glass. To be fair, it's actually quite refreshing. But my views on alcoholvrij beers remain the same, fuckin pointless stuff.
Have a coke or sumsuch if thirsty I opine, especially considering 0.0% beers cost the same or sometimes more than regular ones.
 
I’ve had a couple decent non-alcoholic beers. I do find they tend to be too malty/sweet, mind, but not in all cases thankfully. I’ve heard Guinness NA is good - have some in the cupboard - but not sampled yet.

Currently drinking Vocation Brewery Love & Hate. Pretty decent New England IPA. 7.2% and very mild in flavour by IPA standards. This is how moderate IPAs should taste fukkin Beavertown :p

PS: The local Co-Op recently had a run on Beavertown Satellite Session IPA for just £2.41 per four pack. At that price I fukkin hoovered it up. Tastes exactly the same as Lunar only more watery. This actually improves the beer. I’d rather this than the vile piss that is Lunar.

It was a gift from the mother in law, who also likes a drink, but doesn't seem to understand that ABV is everything.

My initial thought was to cut out the middle man and just pour it down the bog, but waste not, want not... :!

I don't mind Skol, used to be my go-to drink at a party back in my youth for a few reasons. 1, nobody would steal it, you can drink 8 and still function perfectly fine the next day. Definitely what I'd call a session ale as you could quite comfortable go through a whole case throughout the day/evening without the usual inebriation.

Fuck yeah, Skol was a classic and maybe the first can I actually 'owned' age maybe 14

I drank a few nights ago, it's rare thesedays (monthly at most). 4 cans of cold Corona Extra. Was on 15mg dex though. It was good! Although I think I may be getting mocked anytime now...
