Currently partaking of the old Frosties as we speak.

For all its reputation, I don't think it's too bad myself. Yeh, it's very acidic and causes heartburn and a bad head in the morning if you're not careful, but compared to the likes of White Lightning, Zeppelin, White Ace etc. It's the best of a bad bunch...

I remember when it was 99p for a 1.5L bottle.

Okay 😛 Does it taste good or bad? We don't have that large bottles of cider in Finland, but a lots of different ciders and most of them are super sweet and taste like yeast and some artificial flavors, especially the cheapest ones 🤢 Some super dry ciders are ok, does not still taste good. I don' t drink cider, it gives a horrible hang over and aheadache from hell. Beer is ok, but I prefer Vodka, Rum and whiskey.

I used to be an alcoholic, a serious one.. Used to drink 24 hours a day, then slept two hours or pass out few hours, woke up, poured a shot or two and chug them, continued sleeping for two hours, do shots, sleep... And wake up at morning to drink more all day, I had to sleep a bottle at my nightstand to be able to sleep at all, severe insomnia from alcohol every night. I did that for a long time until i got too sick and tired to do that anymore. It took few months to feel normal again. Benzos and pregabalin helped, and a lots of fresh air, relaxed excercise and good nutrition, and a lots of sleep.
Now i can drink maybe once or twice a month without problems and not craving more. It has been this way over 5 years now.
 
8 % by the way appears to grocery stores tomorrow, borrow some money?

Today I drank very good coffee after a while, got me pretty caffeinated.

You can't really call white ciders that are sold in the UK, a cider. They're chemicals in a bottle with a chemical pear/apple sweetener added.

Is Frosties actually classed as a 'white cider' though? Its not so much white, as piss coloured. Also, the sulphites are not the dominant taste, unlike similarly priced tramp juice.

Wouldn't have a clue in this day and age, I just assumed (wrongly or rightly) that all the big bottled ciders are white ciders. They'll never win any awards, but they do the job.

I will go through lounge, calling everyone cunt, reporting everyone to moderators so the channel gets so stuffed it can not handle reports made of me, finally landing to "Israel is under attack", producing pile of diarrhea with no sources whatsoever to my claims, while planes crash to ground and nukes go off around me, only because politicians thought finnish people could handle beer tasting like booze without systembolaget state monopoly intervening.

White lightning was another winner. I could save half of my lunch money every day through the week and use it to get a couple of bottles of this on the way home from school on Friday. Getting drunk was a lot cheaper and easier when I was 15 than it is now at 35.

More recently had my first taste of Cornish mead. Kind of reminds me of a much milder Drambuie. Might try mixing it with lemonade next time.
 
Cheap vodka is another option for paying less per unit, but I'll drink most of a 70cl and wake up sweating and screaming.

2.5L of frosties is about right to get me pissed but not Fucked. Up. Beyond. All. Recognition.

I can't really get satisfactorily drunk on anything below 5% vol. unless I'm sinking the fucker.
Im on budweiser no. 8 since 5pm but dont feel at all pissed.
