What Are You Drinking? V2. Frosty Jacks - For The Discerning Pisshead

Over the weekend, I discovered that switching brands of whisky works like magic for refreshing the good effects of said drink. Prolonged nightly consumption of cheap and cheerful McKendricks, which I had been using to make whisky sours, meant that it had gradually lost practically all the good elements of the enjoyable kick that had drawn me towards whisky in the first place.

Switching to The Woodsman, which happened to be on Special offer at Asda, totally refreshed the effects, and allowed for a return of the fine pleasurable kick. This is definitely something I should continue to bear in mind whenever a drink begins to loose it's magic. Simply switching brands or types of whisky seems to be enough to fool the brain into thinking it does not have any tolerance.

Yeah it's been very similar to that, and similar to switching types of benzo too. What did surprise me was that I only had to switch brands of whisky, and didn't have to switch from whisky to some completely different type of alcohol.

I've decided that when the liquor store opens I'm buying a bottle of California champagne for breakfast.
Wow that might be the classiest upgrade of booze ever, mouthwash>champagne.
Are you only saying that to sound less of a Clampet? Cos don't worry, we don't judge! I've had a shot of mouthwatch once or twice "to help me sleep" only to be kept awake with my stomach gurgling all night!

I have been pretty light on the booze for the past ten days, with the exception of Saturday.

So tonight, I am thinking about getting not-quite-falling-down-drunk in a few hours. It will be glorious

Then no booze until Weds night, then Sat night. Practically a monk
