Is that cheap!?! That's almost a quid a can! Does Ireland have mad tax on booze or something?
I'm drinking Christmas booze. I don't usually mix single malt scotch with coke but this Pogues shite is really quite bad... The massive 1L tin of lager was nice tharr!

Wise councel axe battler, I am partial to the occasional bit of Dwayne Johnson as it happens. And yeah tobacco is fairly extortionate in the UK. Ireland however doesn't have the benefit of relatively fast ferry links to the continent, Belgium in particular where tobacco prices are on par with sawdust. If I were to make a guess, and a conservative guess at that I'd say about 70% of tobacco consumed in the UK originates from Ostend. I'm not sure how much of an impact Brexit is having on the trade, but I'm sure it's still a very popular route, maybe even moreso since Brexit. As an aside, I took a flight to John Lennon Airport from Dublin at the beginning of the month and duty free prices applied. The downside however of duty free prices are duty free limits.Maybe you should start smoking crack instead?? That's my advice anyway.
