I called the @NurseRatched to see if there is a response. I also snet a sweet msg about the cuckoos nest gang and how few were left. More humorous than anything. If she/he is active maybe a response... there are lurkers about. Takes one to know one.
If not maybe there is the option of a hostile takeover as there has been no posts or reactions received. Not sure this plan is "possible" but ya know even if ya stayed pumpkin that's still awesome from where I am. I know.... ;) lol

Fuming cos I got called into Lilvibe's school because she called a classmate a poff. So I tried but I lost it with the headmaster and today Lilvibe was sent home. :(

I only said it couldn't be me as I've never taught her hate. Scared we'll get cancelled now and live in shame.
 
I got blackout drunk last night. Was invited out unexpectedly and given free alcohol 👍
I drank;
7 pints of kronenburg
2 cans of scrumpy jack
A 500ml of this 5% cider, cant remember what it was called
At least half maybe 2/3rds of a 2L jug of 'old rosie' - this is what finished me off. Really pokey for supermarket scrumpy 👌

Took about 7 dph sleeping pills too that probably didnt help

Feeling fine thanks Chinup.

The only comfort meds I've had was 40mg amitriptyline nightly for 5 nights (with plenty of weed) and lashings of strong coffee and/or energy drinks during the day. Felt zero withdrawals and zero cravings. However, now I'm out of amitriptyline the little voices are starting up again, though easily suppressed (so far).

I'm not saying "never again" because that would be fatal, but I intend to stick it out for as long as I can...
 
Having some Flor de Caña 5 year with spicy Ginger Beer.... First time I've drank twice in a week so feel a bit shit about THAT, but otherwise being rather chilled = Not even angry at my downstairs neighbour for being a loud preeeek!
 
Just got a gift of a large pizza and a four pack of birra moretti l'autentica from my nextdoor neighbour 😁 he is a gent my Sunday just improved 💯. just back from the shop got two black cans of karpackie 9% 😎 job done.

Mate I glad to hear you made 15 days! I hope you don't take that as defeat, and realise that you can quit daily drinking and it won't kill ya. In fact quite the fucking opposite!

Myself... I'm drinking strongbow knock off supermarket shit... It's Sainsbury's though so that makes me posh I'm a way.

how did you deal with the cravings? i can do it for like a night, or 2, and then give in. last night i thought i was set, went to NA and talked about how much i wanted to stop drnking. got home, boyf announces he's getting a beer. and that's me done for. it was only one mind.

this is the first weekend since i moved house where i've not lost an entire day to being hungover so there's improvement for sure.

but, i'm drinking oranjeboom black as i type and getting stressed cos they were down to 1 in the shop. i feel like whenever i move whichever shop sells it needs advanced warning that they'll need to start restocking more often.
