What Are You Drinking? v. The Milk Of Human Kindness

I know it's Monday, but I fancy a couple of jars tonight, I'm slowly getting into the Xmas spirit

Need a recommendation from the great and the good of EAAD, somthing to sooth a cracked heart, come of a 7 day 3-m, and not overly react to small benzo usage?

While accompanied by Elton John's I guess that's why they call it the blues

After 7 days you really need nothing other than food and a 24 hour coma.
It will feel like you won't sleep but give it 15 minutes and you'll be out, the physical exhaustion has never failed to knock me out after 3/4 days benders, no benzos needed.

Is it a drink you want? What do you like - beer, wine, spirits?

What about some nice port and a cheese board, pretend to feast like Royalty.

Beer is probably the best choice due to the sheer amount of sugars in it, which you will be sorely lacking post-binge.
Gatorade/Lucozade are more advisable though.

sorry guys, I asked for a reco and never followed up - should have, instead got to half bottles of Glens (cheap but legit vodka) an 2 big bttles of smirnoff ice as mixers - would you've a good mate when you've known him 20 yr ask for some smack and he refuses u, says it'l ruin u - fuckn love some smack

Not heard that name in years 'Glen's vodka' :D and I have been known to use Amstel as a mixer :D.

Drinking Spicy Tea - but craving a beer, its a gorgeous day I have more reasons to have a beer than not so.

Had a wee cheeky Newcastle Brown Ale last night which I enjoyed - the pub I went into was dead, IPA was rotten, I could not drink it, so a bottle it was.

^ I love my IPA, Brewdog Punk IPA is indeed very good. I'm also a fan of Williams Bros. Joker, usually my pint of choice these days.

Reading about this 'vodquila' that's kicking about now (self-explanatory), I was wondering what the rankest drink any of you have ever tried is? For me it's what I think was cane sugar-based alcohol. I think it might have been Brazilian, began with a C, and it tasted like burning rubber smells. My mate and I bought it while we were shopping for stuff to make cocktails with back in 2008 and it's testament to how bad it is that even with my enthusiasm at the time for absolutely anything alcoholic, that bottle remained almost full until it got thrown out a month later.

Grappa is pretty rank if I remember correctly - well the stuff I bought back from Italy years ago for my flat mates at the time.

We tanked the bottle within an hour or two and were popping DFs like smarties. A great wee night.

Cacahca - I was drinking loads of that when mixed with just sugar and lime juice. Really strong stuff but not too bad. Worst drink for me - Guinness would be up there at the top of the list.
