My da was given a bottle of powers as a present today by a customer who took a ride as his furniture was being delivered. My da stopped at the offy for him so he bought him that.

My da doesn't drink whiskey anymore so maybe I will attempt to man up.
 
Man up, for the love of God! That bottle should be a distant memory by now.

I drank three quarters of the Beam. I have fallen into an abject routine of going to be with it half-finished and then taking little swigs when I wake up at 3am needing a piss. Which is bad enough, but consider the fact my alarm goes off at 5:30am. :\

Needs to be nipped in the bud. Again.

Our local shop is a coop, so much better than many others IMO. Mrs A likes a dry white or a Proseco these days and they have a decent selection.

I've stopped drinking loads of sugar free pop, I go for sparkling water with a bit of cordial these days, I've still not gone back to drinking, must be 3 years. I do miss ot on occasion but overall it;s the best thing for me, I still think I'd be back to daily excess in no time, fukin twat that I am

Reminds me of when I found a can of random diet coke in the fridge at home a couple of weeks ago. Drank it, looked down at the can to see mould on the side. Turns out that the reason I didn't remember buying it was that it was 2 YEARS out of date. Oh well. I'm still here.

Drowning my sorrows with a homemade milkshake today. Off the booze again after drinking almost 2 bottles of vodka over the weekend but this is nicer anyway. Strange that I never really miss booze.
