Managed to cool myself down with a fruit smoothie. Two bananas, five big strawberries, two kiwi fruit, juice of a clementine, juice of a lime, half a pineapple, big chunk of ginger, milk, dash of double cream, blended up and put in the fridge overnight, then topped up with orange and lime juice. A small glass has impregnated me with a personal central cooling device.

Ha when i lived in madrid that was the drink of choice of Spanish teens and students..Out on the squares at night with a tetrapak of Don Simon (fighting wine they called it) mixed with coke, kalimotxo they called it...

I could never get my head round it till i tried drinking tetrapak Don Simon. It works.

I'm off down the allotment for an hour or so to water, will have a couple of beers, weed, maybe a line of pirate.
