Of course it matters up north. ;)

Everything up here tends to have a head; my mate even had somebody return a pint of cider once because it didn't. I don't think Bass is meant to be particularly foamy though, so you're in the right. Not that you can tell anybody that, of course...

It was everywhere at one time, wasn't it? I remember being too young to go drinking, but seeing this red triangle on every other pub.

Some of the red triangles are still there, but the beer is a lot harded to find these days.
 
Mention Bass & well a couple of other things & you can draw Myshkin out in a second ;)

How be matey ? Did some speed on friday . Only 2nd time since i been on BL . 1st was with a load of other Blers.

Yeah mate , was with a load of Traveller mateys what with the Solstice n that .
Was given a nice bit & it was lush , no comedown hardly . I did have booze , weed , a dab of Crystal Saffrole , my diaz , & a few MSJs though %)

Can get sugar free versions though.

Its on sale in sainsbury here but marketed as " mountain dew energy"

There was also a Death Vodka a while back, Timothy Leary used to wear t shirts promoting it . Never tasted it. not sure I want to.

Strongest Voddy I ever had was called Koursinkorva ( sp) or something, mate from Finland visited me and bought it Duty Free, he gave my dad the Finlandia and sais" thats the tourist shit, lets drink this one, its what the bums in finland drink. the ones who go loco "

The bottle looked normal enough so I said ok, I am not sure how many people are familiar with Finns, but basically they know how to do 2 things, Drink or Commit Suicide

The Vodka was insane, later on I found out it was 60% vol
They say vodka gives no hangover, we mixed this stuff with robinsons barley and next day my hangover was so bad my balls were aching !!

Magners, cos it was on offer eight quid for ten. Accidentally tried to buy 20 cos they had the crates sealed in packs of two (who the fuck does that?) and felt like a div, though I woulda done if I'd had a fiver more. Debating going out tonight cos is non-bastardy housemate's birthday and he's off to a wee pub I'm quite fond of, they've a list of beers, ales, lagers, whatever, on the wall that all have weird names and occasionally obscene percentages. Been meaning to go and drink down the list for a while but don't think I'm up to it today. They've got a 14.5% one called summat monk-y sounding and then your Duvel and Kwak and whatnot and a 0% one somewhere in there. It's definitely do-able. Definitely.

This stuff is pretty nice, but it's soo expensive. I'm only drinking it because I made a pact with myself when I moved to this small market town a few months ago, to not use the supermarkets and only buy from independent shops on the high street. This is working out pretty well from a quality point of view but it does mean I have to spend a bit more on things I'd normally buy a "value" product for. This stuff costs about £3.50 a bottle and only makes 8 to 10 pints. Nice though.

It seems to me the worse, more people want to try it. Those vodka brands we posted about seem to have a strange link which is a really unhealthy death related names. There will be a brand next week called "death by AK-47"

In relation to foreigners om the grog I got my ex too try white star cider before as she had never heard of it, she was happy while getting drunk but the next days hangover wasn't so much fun I can promise you that as she drank 4 litres of the stuff, I did try to warn her but I did the same on Uzzo (sp?)
Just a passing memory recall of that night's session makes me feel ill.

Swat I miss about living in a small town, one of the very few things. Was back at me parents' last week and realised how much I'd missed the local butchers and book shops and weird little places (they have a shop called 'More Hats!'. There is not a shop called 'Hats!'.). City I'm in has all the ethnic-y places which is cool but all the other stuff just ain't the same somehow. But then I'll go home for a month or so and miss the Polish shops here cos they're fukkin amazing

Obviously, I'm drinking cider. Tho did get some lemon and lime flavoured fizzy water earlier cos Sainos had kindly put a load in the fridge and on offer for 55p for a 1.5l bottle <3

Ooh, love me a bit of Russian Standard. Much better than the usual Putinoff or Rachmaninoff from Lidl. But most things are. Not seen that Strongbow before though, am intrigued; it nice?

Also jealous of the white tea, all mine's back at home. Love it with a bit of lemon <3
 
It's not as gassy as most ciders so once it's cold it slips down nice. To the point where I've run out of them. 3x10 pack for £22 tesco. Pretty weak ABV wise though.

Sat in my conservatory topless. All of a sudden neighbours have the urge to mow the lawn..
