What are you drinking? - "Someone is bringing you ice?"

Can't stand that shit at all, or grapefruit generally, it's just too sharp for me, tastes like lemon with the skin on and I'll never understand its popularity. Maybe it's one of those things you need specific genes or enzymes to enjoy. Or maybe people have it in the mornings because their day can only improve from there.
 
jancrow i totally agree! its fucking butters! however if you remove the white shit (the pith?) thats on the fruit itself under the skin it removes the acidity and tastes vaguely OK

Yeah it's far too sharp and acidic without having much of a nice taste. Now drinking a cup of coffee, I've went from never drinking coffee to having a cup almost every day this week. Dunno how that happened.

Regarding beer in bottles or cans:

Only beer in brown bottles is worth drinking. Any uk craft brewer uses brown. It is also the bottle of choice for us home brewers.

I have tasted plenty of microbrewed beer in cans and they are also fine. Its just not as easy for smaller brewers than capping and labeling bottles.

Craft beer revolution is here and big pish brewers are scared.
 
Lots of independents where I grew up and here in bristol. Good stuff too. I keep planning to make my own cider... next year maybe.
 
Too much sauce too early in the day. Drank almost all of the goon box I bought this mroning, not eben 4 in the aftermoon. Says 4 litres oin the label.

It tastes great wuth tropical juice mixed though

a couple of pints of very cold Leffe tonight. £2.50 a bottle for 750ml of 6.6% Leffe ain't bad. I LOVE the taste of good beer, and this tastes GREAT ... it's better than getting a mediocre bottle of wine for a fiver anyway. 1.5L of decent quality, strong tasting, good quality beer lasts loads longer.

pfft, no belgian ale should be served at less than 48 degrees c :)

to have it "cold" defeats the purpose, you wont even taste it that way
I drank westmalle dubbell and Leffe Brune at about 11 degrees last week (52f) and it tasted fantastic
