What are you drinking? - "Someone is bringing you ice?"

I'm drinking that bottle of red I bought earlier, I'd post what country it's from and what type of wine it is but I don't know because I never checked, I just like the price (£4.50) and the look of the label.

Argentinian malbec "Mendoza" 2011 from Asda "extra special" range, £5 a bottle. Drank one the other night, liked it so much I bought two the next. Very tasty.

Sounds right up my street, maybe it's that red wine I discovered in Argentina and should have exported. ;)

I've put a bottle stop into my wine, had enough for tonight. It's making me really thirsty.

Get some water in you. I rarely regret drinking water. I prefer to filter my cooncil juice through a Brita module. Takes the chlorine taste away, and presumably the actual chlorine too. I've always been a bit snobbish about tap water, but filters make it OK.

Drinking 'dilutie' juice now. Unusually I haven't drank any water today, got up had fruit juice, went out for a few hours then came home and started drinking the wine and eating pepperoni pizza, the pepperoni tasted quite salty. Probably why I'm so thirsty. I like tap water, don't understand people who say it tastes minging, we've got the best tap water in the world in Scotland, tastes fucking delicious to me.

I love tap water, just when you get it from downstairs it tastes completley different to the water from upstairs, bathroom water is last resort lazyness.

I remember my gran used to tell us not to drink water from the bathroom tap as it didn't come from the same place as the tap water in the kitchen and was bad for you. Why would it though, why would there be different places for water from one tap and water from another?

The cold tap in the kitchen should be connected to the mains water supply. Cold fresh high pressure water.

Other cold taps may be fed via a tank, in which you might find dead pigeons. All depends on how the place has been plumbed.

It's just a matter of self preservation to have low confidence in the water from a tap that probably isn't fed directly from the mains - i.e. all taps except the kitchen sink cold tap.

I see. I'm drinking an innocent smoothie, was reduced in Co-op from some ludicrously high price to just over a quid and it's lovely. Not sure what is in it but it's purple.

Aye, is what I'm drinking now. Housemates are complaining about the water here but they're all soft and southern. I like it. Fill a few empty bottles up, whack em in the fridge, job's a good 'un. Fannies.

The tap water in Leeds is much much nicer than down south. The only mineral water you can buy that i've found is vaguely worth any money (but not the money it actually costs) is evian. Volvic tastes soft and isn't very refreshing. Almost like it it's warm even when it's chilled. But the tap water up here is even better than evian.

Why don't you just read the label of the smoothie your drinking Spade? :sus: Even at the full price of innocent smoothies, I don't think it's possibly to blend your own using the amount of fruit they pack in. I still only buy it when it's on offer, and even then not very often. If i'm going to drink a drink with that much sugar in it I would rather just have a coke.

www.freecoke.co.uk

From tomorrow. Bankrupt the bastards.

I used to drink so much coke every day i'm surprised that when I cut myself coke didn't come out. Even if they gave me a free coke every day for the next 10 years I think they still would have made a profit.

Does anyone else find that drinking coke from a plastic bottle just doesn't cut it? It's either a can, or if you're really lucky a nice glass bottle.

Bottles are shite, I swear I can taste the plastic. Coke is one of the favourite drinks these days I prefer Zero. I don't buy it for drinking at home any more to avoid having too much of it. I'm sure I don't get anywhere near enough fluids but I really don't care for water on it's own or for that matter any still drink.

I find chilling in the fridge has the same sort of effect, straight from the tap is passable but definitely not as nice as when it's lovely n cold.

Because the carton is in the fridge and I'm drinking it out a glass. They have a lot of sugar in but it's naturally occurring sugar from fruit which is packed full of vitamins so I'd rather drink the smoothie than the coke tbh if we're focusing on the sugar aspect. I fucking love coke though, that drink is the devil.

Plastic bottle > can > glass bottle. The glass bottles are super expensive here yet in Asia or Latin America they are dirt cheap, you get one in Thailand for 20p out the 7/11. We're getting ripped off!

I remember reading somewhere that something like 70 per cent of the cost of a Mars bar is to cover advertising costs.

Fuck adverts.
