I'm hoping when I go back up today they've seen the error of their ways and put it back down to £1.50 a bottle. Has happened before.

@ Marmz: I went to the local B&M. They're very cheap! Got some cereal. And an Old El Paso Burrito kit for 99p which was over £3 in ASDA!

Tried to find booze. NO LICENSE :|
 
sunday my drink of choice was half pint of bucky with either a jageimester bomb in it or a half pt of bucky and half pt of rum n ginger ale.always drink a bit funny when on acid
 
Wee bit of shite spider, nicely drunk and not rolling in the aisles as usual so obviously will wake up with a Banging Hangover

Had my last bottle of Peroni earlier, don't see the fuss about that stuff at all and can't work out why it's so much dearer than all the other beers in pubs. Just tastes like Stella.
 
I bought a bottle of rose wine earlier as there was no cheap deals on beer, cider or red. Stuff is far too sweet and going down far too quickly though. Red wine all the way!

I'm right off red wine - the migraine wares me down. Had to force myself onto white, tis criminal. Appears my time with alcohol is at an end like a bad date. Stuff sickens me literally.

Won't drink Stella but will drink Fosters? :?

Kate, rose wine is nice enough but too sweet and easily drunk. Can't beat a bottle of red wine. White wine is dreadful.
 
Spade, I said I wouldn't drink the Stella that's made over here on license. Have you tasted it against the imported stuff? Not that drinking Fosters means I have an eclectic palette.
 
Nah I've just drank the normal Stella I think, not a big fan but I can drink it. Peroni doesn't justify the price.

Suppose that's true. It's almost £5 a pint (usually £4.80) in most places in town. Only a few places I know have it on draft. I do like it in the fact I find it less gassy than most lagers though.
 
I was just saying the other day that round here it's £4.20-£4.50, in Edinburgh £5.25 a pint in one pub I was in. My mate who lives in London reckons it's not even that expensive done there. :\
 
Usual cost of a pint around these parts is a touch over £4. Even for Carling et al.
 
Normal pint of Tennants or whatever round here isn't as much as £4, closer to £3. It wasn't so long ago a fiver would get you 2 pints, not anymore though.
