What are you drinking? - "Someone is bringing you ice?"

Spanish red wine, Co-ops finest at £3.65 a bottle. Seriously, I like this shit. Cheapest in the shop too.

I buy it every week, it's alright as far as I'm concerned. It's always this price, not reduced. Called 'Espana' or something equally generic.

yeah, I agree, i know the one....much better than the "half-price" £4 reduced from £8 wines...I wasn't being sarcy.

I'll let you off this time then. ;)

It's decent for the price eh? Needs airing for about 30 minutes at least before drinking but after that it's pretty good.

You can always judge a wine by its price.

These days the wine market is sewn up y a few big global players.

They don't give a fuck about quality, but are masters of marketing.

An £8 wine, on sale at £4 is a £4 wine. A £3.65 wine is a £3.65 wine, WITHOUT a massive marketing budget to account for, so is in all likelihood a better wine. Again, placebo works wonders when people are sipping away at their "£8" bottle of wine....

And that Co-Op Espana is a pretty good wine. I'd go for it above any of the big Australian, South African half -price deals.

I never pay more than a Fiverr. Makes little difference to me.

I'm obviously late to the table with this one, but it's fucking awesome lager. possibly the best bar duvel for me. Only 5% but beautiful

Found it in Bargains and Madness yesterday, for £1.19 a bottle (500ml, 5% ) ... went back for some more today because I lost one in the freezer and it popped unfortunately. Ist time that's happened in ages .. normally I'm lucky and get away with that but eh ... it's cheap enough

i like your taste in beer

Katy now, had a big bottle of Cobra with a curry at the Indian earlier, I haven't drunk lager for months, was quite nice really.

Cobra is a lovely lager, never tastes dirty towards the end like most lagers. £1.50 a bottle at Tesco and Asda now usually over £2. My favourite lager at the mo.

Been on the caipirinhas tonight. Feel quite drunk after just a few, it takes you by surprise.
