ye every now and then they do this, last week it was some other ale and a while back was getting Fullers London Pride.

they also have a Czech lager at 99cent a btl 500ml, they bought the brewery. pretty good lager, like most czech beer.
 
I wish I could enjoy alcohol again but my years spent taking heroin seem to have pretty much killed off my ability to properly enjoy alcohol anymore.
I can drink about 2 cans maximum whereas before my habit I was always in the pub and could drink loads of alcohol without ever throwing up and never getting a hangover.
 
Not usually, but me wife and son are off to some shitty advent craft fair....all I've got to do is wash up and get Sunday dinner ready, already got the bed settee folded out in the living room, weed tin, baccy, ashtray, skins all set up ready on a side table, couple bottles Thatchers Vintage lined up.....

Not often you get to spend a sunday like this when you got young kids.
 
When you can do it all the time its nothing special really but like you said its not often you get the chance when you have young kids.

I've got a couple of bottles of Wyld Wood, a couple of Westons Vintage, and 4, 3 now Thatchers Vintage....

not planning on doing all of them tonight =D

Hah nice to know someone appreciated it for how much it's cost me. I was originally going to request a court hearing but decided against it as I think i'd pissing my self laughing in front of a magistrate when the copper had to say he was genuinely distressed by me shouting wanker. An £80 fine is probably worth it for the amusing anecdote in the long run anyway.

I never used to worry about this, I'd drink anything, probably beer but maybe coke or irn bru, vimto, cider. But a fish supper is such a special thing that I'm starting to worry I need to have the perfect liquid accompaniment.

Some people apparently drink tea with their fish and chips but I think it has to be a cold drink with a meal.

I'm starting to think a sweetish drink would be best, to complement the savouriness.

Because it's an event, I think fizzy is the way forward.

Got a free bottle of this tonight. My sis won one in a comp last year and now this year too, so I snagged one

Not normally a rum fan really, used to take it in a zombie when I first started drinking.

Anyone tried it? It's 35% and taste alright I guess. Nice enough not to need a mixer anyway
