Had to look that up =D
.

I know. I was timing you too. No wonder you're an ex- English teacher.

Thatchers? I've bloody lived on it every time the co-op runs out. Plus I went to Somerset in August and we were 5 yards from a Thatchers Brewery Sales shop. I've told you all this. Your memory is fucked. You need to go back to soapbar.

Long PM about autism....one day. Now. Drink. <3

Soapbar would knock me out at the mo, I've been smoking twigs and leaf last few days...

Our Co-Op never sells Thatchers :( missis gets it from Tescunts, 3 for a 5er.

You should try the Westons med-sweet, at 4.5% I reckon its right up your back-alley.

Cheers anyway!

Ridiculously swiggable. And on offer for £16 at Co-Op. That's bordering on a bargain. Comparatively.

that JD might be alright...£16 you say?

I'm on the Thatchers Vintage 2011 again, gets beter and better, HWestons Vintage tastes like sick now.

Yup. Is properly lushy, MM. Absolutely delish as a perker inna cuppa coffee or hot choc but hard not to just swig it straight from the bottle. Smooth as a lubed slug singing Frank Sinatra too. Not sickly sweet like most spirit liqueurs are either. But is only 35% to take the burn off and make it more liqueuerish. Jim Beam Cherry appeared at the same time at Co-Op here and is probably on offer too. Is 40%, not sweet at all and got the nastiest aftertaste ever. Fukkin brutal hangover off it too. Okay as a shot in hot choc but not one to go swigging. JD Honey is a whole other matter. Yum <3

Johnnie Walker. Only the very lowly Red Label, but it's still more palatable than many of the less-estalished single malts that have flooded the market.

Sexiest bottle shape in the world, no question.

I just had some tomato soup. But did I eat or drink it? I'm never quite sure with soup.

Dubious.

I've seen whole pro-ana-mia communities collapse under the weight of that very conundrum. Best not to ask.

Port? Cider? I'll stick to the men's drinks, ta.

I reckon 4 comes after 3 in any alphabet, so, yeah.

Do you have some trick to go into reverse and back to the second bottle or something? That would be good.

Some fairly generic red wine. Co-Op brand plonk. Was rather tempted by a bottle of "Chocolate Lover's Red" that has choccy innit but was six quid even on offer and only 12%. Opted for a bottle 2% higher and 33% cheaper. Economic whizzkid me.

Brandy and Ive developed a taste for port. Doesn't give me a hangover.

I <3 port. Fukkin delish stuff is port. Cliche as it is, goes great with a bit o' Stilton. And I don't even particularly like Stilton. Baked tomato stuffed with Stilton and breadcrumbs though... yum <3
