What Are You Drinking? Four of your 'finest' purple tins, s'il vous plait

I thought I like Sol but I was drinking it the other day and it's fucking rancid tasting really once you get past the lime flavour of the first few swigs, fuck knows how you can drink it without the lime like, it's piss water. Brazilians used to laugh at me when I bought it over there because they consider it cheap and nasty, they are actually right.

lol its the same with any imported beer here, the country that exported it usually do so cuz its just common pisswater to them! especially the likes of stella, wont find that in a bar in Belgium thats for sure!

was actually bout to pop open a tall heineken, just eaten more dhc but no blues to accompany :( ahh well feeling good anyways :)

so any big weekend plans you bunch of drugpigs? :P

Local offy's just started doing Carlsberg Export for 99p a can. All your regular 4% beers are £1.10 or there about's so I looks at the base and low and behold they're out of date in a month. Said to the guy... that Exports not a bad price, usually £1.30ish isn't it? Cheeky cunt denied it and said they just got a good deal.

By the way... locals round here are getting wild pricey. I can't use super markets for bulk as I can't have boxes of lager sitting about the house talking to me.

I spend ridiculous amounts in there! Great selection. The Chorlton branch is better, but only slightly.

Tried Unicorn in Chorlton for beer? Amazing stuff.

I only piss freely with Wivvy supertrollops, so you're alright.

I've not been to Carringtons for ages, once my exams are finished I think I will have a trip down for a bit of shopping.

I do shop in Unicorn every now and again, I love the place. Never bought any beer from there though, perhaps its worth a trip down.

The only supertrollops i've seen in Withington stink of piss, now I know why =D

Im drinking berry flavoured Kopparberg cider. There are loads of weird drinks in my fridge people have left from last night. Sugary alcopop type drinks im guessing the birds have left. In fact the stupid cunts have left nearly a whole box of bud aswell.

I started on Corona, then moved onto a beer fest where they'd run out of cider so I decided the barman could decide and surprise me with whatever drink he felt like pouring, had stuff called all sorts of weird names, Window Cleaner was my fave. Then ended up back on the Corona when that finished and at my mates Bud because it was all he had. Fucking vile stuff, is it just me that thinks it tastes stale?

there is a beer festival here at the moment too, peopel thought I was off work last thursday because of it, when it was really because of the poker, I hate rumours and speculation at work.

Don't think I will drink anymore tonight, got work again at 8am, although have done the past two days after alcohol and managed it and have wednesday off to recover so might have one more can 8) (I need to stop using that smiley so much, lol )

If being off Wednesday is a good enough excuse for you to get pished on Sunday then on ye go. ;)

That has to be the last can now. I need to get some sleep, not had a real nights sleep in a long time. I might pretend to be religious so I can get longer lunch breaks to "pray" but don't think my boss would believe I am a Muslim, lol.

I started to pour a glass of tonic water before deciding it would be rude not to add a dash of gin to it. Think I'll have another now....

Why do people call cans of beer "tins", there is no tin in your can of beer or cider, idiot n00bs.

Even food "tins" have little tin in them nowadays,

"No cans currently in wide use are composed primarily or wholly of tin; that term rather reflects the nearly exclusive use in cans, until the second half of the 20th century, of tinplate steel, which combined the physical strength and relatively low price of steel with the corrosion resistance of tin."

Sorry it just really gets on my nerves... perhaps its a northern saying or something, they're so far behind up there, perhaps their cans of beer *are* made of tin?

Take a guess as to what I am drinking again tonight, cider once more. Need to re-evaluate my drinking habits seriously, this is the last week night in the next 4 weeks that I am going to have more than 2 cans. Seems so harmless when I am not really getting hangovers, although the lack of quality sleep has started to be noticed.
