What are you currently reading? v2

Just got Frankie Boyle's autobiography 'My Shit Life So Far' out of the library. Never really liked the bloke, but from a quick flick through it appeared quite funny and brutally honest - which it was for the first 100 pages or so. Then it started to drag, and get less & less funny until I fucked it off about 50 pages from the end (a book has to be seriously shit for me to put it down having got that far), because I finally realised that Frankie Boyle is just a cunt that calls everyone else 'a cunt'. Fuckin Cunt!!!

just finished re-reading Junky by William Burroughs again. I had a copy of it on the shelf in my office so I picked it up during the slower part of the day. I have lost count how many times I have read this, but I always enjoy it and get some of it each time I return to it.

Currently reading The Eerie Silence Are We Alone In The Universe? by Paul Davies. Found this on my Dad's computer shelf and thought it was worth a read. Only about 60 pages in but so far it's quite interesting indeed. Questioning everything that we know so far and the countless specualtions. Made me ponder a few things already. Would be a nice read on a dissociative.

Money: A Suicide Note by Martin Amis.

It's deliciously rude with plenty of black humour. Recommended.

been reading it most of the afternoon, great book so far

Knock the problem is most rich fucks have trivial things like receptionists, interns and security guards

Shame or else I would be walking into Kleiner Perkins tommorow with my business plan :)

If you know a rich fuck you just text them to meet you for a few glasses of D.P. or a quick round of golf ;)

It used to be like that in the dotcom boom, it was who you knew not what your idea was. Its different now knock for most VC and PE Firms, most dont even have time for a round of bad golf( many of those VC'S Went bust in the dotcom crash and had to crawl back to investment banking lol)

My "idea" involves and has the backing of a couple of really solid stateside attorneys, who all know their Intellectual Property law, i just need investors !

And cash !!!

I just picked up a copy of Chaucer's Canterbury Tales. It is only a selection of the tales not the full version, but as it was only e2:95 I said why not. I have seen so many references to Chaucer over the years; but I have not read any of his work. I'm looking forward to reading this and I can always pick up the complete version at a later stage if I like it.

Drugs without the hot air by David Nutt

IMO all drug users and those close to them shud consider reading it. 10/10

that's probably one of my favourite books ever.

Mine also Mail monkey , just going to read' awaydays' again by Kevin Sampson .
A story of sex and violence in post punk Merseyside, a must for all you old heads out there .
As for drug fueled books , apart from the obvious I enjoyed all of Tony o'neils.
Sick city , Down and out in mile end & Digging the vein .

Finding it pretty hard going really but also rewarding. Think I may need to read some material before this to get the most out of it.
