What ARE these pills I'm taking??

Hi, this is my first post in BDD and I hope I'm in the right place!

I'm currently on day 2 of withdrawing from a heroin habit of about 3 grams smoked a day. Buuut I'm taking these pills which make me FLY. They're the best thing I've ever used to block out h sickness, I really really really mean I am flyying. I'm only telling you this because I have no clue what these pills are, and I thought someone here might be able to help with some info about them -there's 2 different types I'm taking. They're called Proxyvon and Koftab and they contain:

(Proxyvon)
Propoxyphene Napsylate USP 100mg
Acetaminophen IP 400mg

(Koftab)
Bromhexine HCI IP 8 mg and
Phenylephrine HCI IP 10 mg

Any help anybody? What are they and is there anything I need to be careful about??

Propoxyphene is a lame painkiller, bromhexine is a cough suppressant I believe, phenylephrine is a replacement for pseudoephedrine that doesn't work and acetaminophen is just a painkiller.

I've always heard bad things about propoxyphene, strange that it's helping you a lot.

Propoxyphene=shit! Fuck i hate those pills id rather suffer through dopesickness with nothing then take those. Im surprised there helping you but don't take too many as they can be quite toxic at doses higher then prescribed. I wouldnt take anymore then 2 of them at a time.

The phenylephrine is just a stimulant like pseudoephrine just not as harsh of a stimulant. Atleast for me sine i can't take any cold meds with pneudoephedrine in them but i can take phenylephrine.

Propoxyphene is definitely an awful "Opioid" but, as far as being a withdrawal aid, it is actually really good it seems... It's very odd.. But yea, I'd also like to reiterate the fact that at high doses it can be nastily toxic and very, very bad for you Such problems can include heart problems, seizures and even pulmonary toxicity (gah!). And Paracetamol OD is also obviously very toxic.

Bromhexine isn't a cough suppressant, but rather a Mucolytic (helps you produce mucus so you can cough up all the shit you've been smoking) so that could be quite useful. I'm not too fond of waking up in the morning and feeling like I've been snorting China clay
Phenylephrine will help also, being a decongestant.

Even though Propoxyphene is a load of shit, it sounds like those mix of pills will be very useful

It has some stimulant properties so it could make you feel even more wired and fucked up. As for needing a decongestant you must get alot different withdrawal symptoms then me. My nose won't stop running and i can't stop sneezing so a anti-histamine is needed. I could never take a decongestant during withdrawal as my heart usually feels fucked up enough when im kicking.
