Back on topic, yeh I used to frequent the Alibi room and Anise quite a lot too when I lived in New Farm. Alibi room is open again now but I'm not sure whether they still do $2 tacos... could be under new management?

I forgot the Bowery too, great cocktails but a bit pricey.

We went to Lauche for cotb's birthday the other week and it was great. Pretty decor, lovely food and friendly staff. No surprises as they are owned by The Lychee lounge people.

I am also a fan of The Boundry Hotel on a Friday night for a good old Blues session.

Archive in West End is more of a pool bar I guess but the beer list is impressive.
