I broke my molar and it is hurting fairly bad throughout the day. I try not to chew with it, but sometimes I accidentally do, and when I do, it is excruciating. At some points it hurts so bad I can't focus on anything and it puts me in a terrible, terrible mood. Anbesol works for a minute, but then the pain comes back, and it really isn't feasible to keep applying it multiple times at my job since I am an electrician, and I don't even have time to take a lunch. Orajel also doesn't work that well.

I also have three wisdom teeth coming in and are impacting my other molars which hurt. I won't have medical or dental insurance for another two months from my job. So I was thinking about going to a walk in clinic. My question is, what are the chances they will prescribe me some sort of painkiller? I've been taking about 3000mg of ibuprofen a day and it isn't working either.

Thanks!

Yeah, sorry man. It's against OD guidelines to talk about what to do/or how/ etc. to get certain scripts.

But, if you're in real pain I'm sure a doctor wont leave you hanging.

Good luck.
