What are the chances of an 18 year old having a stroke?

Little bit worried here, i no its very rare but ive been having stroke like symptoms recently, a slight numbness on the left side (that went away after a few hours though), last night when trying to sleep for a few minutes i couldnt turn my head to the left side at all, then i woke up this morning with the left side of my chest extremely tingling, i also feel like i have slight difficulty swallowing.

Ive read up these are all possible stroke symptoms but im 18!, although recent ly i have been quite heavily abusing stimulants and also GBL.

Think im gonna get a doctors appointment just to be safe.
 
I'd get to a doctor quick. With heavy stimulant use, it could be any number of serious medical problems, stroke among them. Stimulants can drastically increase your blood pressure, and if you have any vessels that are slightly weak or lacking in collagen, you can do some serious damage. Strokes in 18 year olds may be rare, but strokes in stimulant abusers are not nearly so unusual. And it certainly doesn't help your case that you've been combining it with a depressant...
 
I'd say that of you laid off stims and shit for a month it would stop.Sounds like anxiety, comedown related stuff. But yeah, see a doctor if it makes your mind calm.
 
yeah if it was a stroke i think id be in a bad way by now, still if ill still get it checked out could be something else.

Your heart is essentially being told to BEAT FAST and BEAT SLOW at the same time, which can cause arrythmia and cardiac arrest.

The stimulant can also "override" deadly effects of depressants; which in theoy sounds good, but is actually not so. You may end up taking a dose of either which is dangerous, but not notice it, subjectively. If you take an overdose on meth, and are on Gxx you wil feel okay untl the g wears off, then your in trouble.
 
^ What you have said does in fact seem like common sense and I know for a fact that the second point you made is a fact, from anecdotes, but more importantly, personal experience. I did however wonder if you could provide any proof e.g. case studies of the first claim, that problems of death or severe brain damage are caused by the speed ball people take to both teal the heart to beat fast and slow at the same time, causing arrythmia and arrest. It really does seem like it is the case, but it would be good to see some sort of proof as I have in fact heard from someone who, superficially at least, that contrary to common sense and common believe, this is in fact not the case and there are other factors coming to play that cause death and other serious issues. Sorry if it sounds like I'm trying to get you to do my research for me, but I'd really appreciate it if you could oblige. If it's too much to ask of you, don't worry, it's not a problem at all mate :)
 
Swilow, some data on the first claim would be nice, since I thought it was only another lie by the propagandamachine, and the only harm in speedballs is the increased risk of ODing.

No, Bells Palsy effects the facial nerve, nothing else. If he had facial paralysis that would be bells palsy, it can go away on its own but usually need a heavy duty course of steroids and pain meds and all that fun jazz. Tingling in his chest and all the other symptoms are NOT bells palsy. I should know... I've had 2 episodes, and in fact am in the middle of one now (been on going a few months)
